Rust Plugins

More from your server.

Rust plugins for Oxide (uMod) and Carbon servers, written by Badgyver to do one thing very well and need no admin work once installed. Two of them are free.

Better NPC Plus (free): every NPC of your custom map, turned into BetterNpc spawn points automatically, from RustEdit spawners to the native NPCs of the game.
Npc Bands: bands of NPCs that really play Rust's instruments note by note, with 615 songs included and your own MIDI files in one command.
Halloween: Michael Myers stalks one player at a time, with music only his victim hears. Beat him three times and you become him.
Bad Console Filter (free): a clean server console, and NPCs or animals stuck in NavMesh errors removed before they cost performance.

Every paid plugin comes with a licence for your servers and every new version in your account.

Which plugin for which server

PvE servers on a custom map: Better NPC Plus turns the map's own NPC spawners into BetterNpc spawn points, so the NPCs a map maker placed get BetterNpc's presets automatically.
Events and seasons: Halloween runs a whole horror event on its own, with no commands for players and no admin work.
Roleplay and community servers: Npc Bands puts live music in your towns, bars and safe zones.
Every server: Bad Console Filter keeps the console readable and removes NPCs and animals stuck in NavMesh errors.

Oxide and Carbon
The plugins are written for Oxide (uMod), and each page lists what it needs under Requirements. Install them like any other plugin: copy the file into your plugins folder and the server loads it.
Licences and updates
Paid plugins check their licence with badgyver.com: register your server once in My account and it keeps working, including through short outages of the site. Bought one on RogueDepot? Link your account with Verify with RogueDepot and the same licence covers it. Free plugins need no licence at all.
Rust changes every month, and so do the plugins: every new version appears in your account and on the plugin's page with its changelog. What each wipe brings is on our Rust updates page.
